Sales Engineer - 1st presales hire

SALARY $150,000 - $199,999

Location: New York, US (hybrid)
Salary: Up to $180K base. 70/30 split to OTE

Opportunity to join as the FIRST Presales hire across the entire company! 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in a sales engineering, solutions consulting, or a technical sales role. 
  • Competency across SQL, Python and Rest APIs (Software Developer level of competency isn’t required.) 
  • Proven success at an early-stage (Seed / Series A / B) technology start-up.
  • Ability to collaborate efficiently with client teams that are both technical and non-technical.
  • Able to spend time at the office and with customers in New York.

 

About the Role:

  • Own the technical side of the sales cycle, from qualifying leads to closing deals.
  • Assist customers through POCs, providing technical expertise and guidance.
  • Create and maintain the Sales Engineering playbook.
  • Support the sales organization in attaining their revenue and growth goals.
